Inspired by a statement made by WNBA player, Sophie Cunningham. I adapted the spirit of her statement to apply to songwriters, singers, writers, and authors. Write on no matter how many boos and how many cheers you receive.
Boos and Cheers lyrics
You’re going to get boos
You’re going to get cheers
Wherever you play
No matter your fears
You’re going to get boos
You’re going to get cheers
No matter what you do
No matter your years
You’re going to get boos
You’re going to get cheers
So play on, play on
No matter your gears
You’re going to get boos
You’re going to get cheers
Loud and raucous either way
No matter the tears
You’re going to get boos
You’re going to get cheers
But you play on either way
No matter your peers
You’re going to get boos
You’re going to get cheers
Both have their value
No matter the frontiers
You’re going to get boos
You’re going to get cheers
You’re going to get boos
You’re going to get cheers
You’re going to get boos
You’re going to get cheers
