This above all: to thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night of the day, thou canst not be false to any man. — William Shakespeare
Never let the odds keep you from pursuing what you know in your heart you were meant to do. — Satchel Paige, baseball pitcher
The two most important days in life are the day you are born and the day you discover the reason why. — Mark Twain, novelist
Do What You Love lyrics
Do what you love
But first, know who you are
Or you’ll choose your love wrong
That is the beginning
The beginning of self-knowledge
Ask yourself: Who are you
And what are you doing here?
In this job
In this relationship
In this country
On this planet?
Musicians must make music
Artists must paint
Poets must write
If they are ultimately
To be at peace with themselves
What human beings can be
They must be, they must be
This above all
To thine own self be true
And it must follow
As the night follows day
You cannot be false to any man
Never let the odds
Keep you from pursuing
What you know in your heart
You were meant to do
The two most important days
In life are the day you are born
And the day you discover
The reason why you were born
Discover your reason now
The two most important days
In life are the day you are born
And the day you discover
The reason why you were born
Discover your reason now
