Promote Other Book Authors in Your Genre
In her email newsletter, novelist Martha Carr promotes other authors
In her email newsletter, Martha Carr, author of the Leira Chronicles, promotes other authors in her genre while also promoting her books. Here are two books she promoted in her email this week. Both are free.
Why not do the same for people writing in your genre?
Below are two ebooks free this week until July 18

Promoting other people’s books in your genre is a great way to gain more visibility for you and your books. It’s worked incredibly well for Martha Carr in promoting the nine (and counting) books in her Leira Chronicles series.
In her newsletter, Martha also asks for readers to leave a review of her books on Amazon. Here’s the graphic she uses.
Note how she lets her readers know that their reviews really help!
At the top of her newsletter, she always includes a graphic showcasing some of her books (as well as other people’s books):
A showcase of Martha Carr’s books and some of her friends!
Martha goes overtime for her books.
The two main takeaways from this email:
Promote other books from other authors in your newsletter, social media, podcasts, etc. These authors should, if they are smart, promote your books as well.
Ask your readers to leave a review of your book on Amazon. Tell them how much those reviews help. Ask via your email, your podcast, your various social networks, etc. Ask and ask again.
