To Book Podcasts as a Guest, Create a Podcast One-Sheet
A one-sheet is like a one-page media kit for getting interviews
If you want to be booked on a lot of podcasts, you should create a podcast one-sheet to promote yourself as a guest. That one-sheet should feature an overview about you and what you offer, a bio, the topics you speak on (marketing, relationships, essentially one or two word topics), more specific topics (such as 3 Easy Ways to Do xxx or Secrets to Making an Impact with xxx), suggested questions, a list of a few podcasts you’ve guested on before, and what sort of offer you’re going to make to listeners (a free report, a free book, etc.).
Here an online podcast one-sheet for Tony Guarnaccia: https://castocity.com/guests/tony-guarnaccia that he made with his https://podcastonesheet.com service.
And here’s a more colorful one-sheet promoting Judith Briles: https://thebookshepherd.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/2019-JB-One-Sheet.pdf.
Notice that Judith included some testimonials in her one-sheet.
The key here is to share information you think podcasters would want to know in order to decide to book you. And to provide information that will assist the podcaster in creating show notes for the podcast episode where you are interviewed.
Here are two more podcast one-sheets created for their clients by Interview Connections.
Interview Connections (https://www.interviewconnections.com) is a booking agent for people who want to guest on podcasts. They offer guaranteed bookings on targeted podcasts. You have to apply before they provide prices for their services.
