Who Does Not Thank You for the Little Things Will Not Thank You for Much

The Little Things Matter as Much as the Big Things

Who does not thank you for the little things will not thank you for much. — Estonian proverb

In marketing your books, the little things matter as much as the big things. It’s the things you do day by day that make a difference.

Do you want to sell more books? Then spend more time every day creating new relationships or nurturing old relationships. It’s really that simple.

Pick up the phone and call someone.
Return a phone call.
Write a letter.
Write an email.
Make a comment on a friend’s blog post (or that of a fellow book author).
Share a Facebook post.
Recommend a fellow author on Twitter or Facebook.
Retweet someone on Twitter.
Pin someone’s blog post to Pinterest.
Record a short podcast episode like this one.

Do something every day. Even a little thing.

And, always, give thanks.

By the way, thank you for listening to this podcast episode.
